1968 Norton P-11A

This past winter I did a complete and total restoration on the entire bike. Every nut and bolt was removed and polished. I polished the engine and trans. cases as well as the hubs, as you can see in the photos. The engine was within specs for piston clearance with only 3675 Mi. on the clock but I had it bored .020" over and installed 10-1 Hepolite pistons for good measure. This bike is still using the original ignition system, I purchased a Boyer unit with coils but decided to keep it stock for reasons of showing the bile. Frame, swing arm, fender braces, headlight shell, instrument plate and more have been powder coated. The tanks and battery cover have been professionally painted with candy apple red paint to Norton specs. The list of new items is too numerous to list. It starts usually on the first kick (not a wimpy one) and without a battery! It is VERY fast and pulls like a Norton should.
